Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners end users by providing business and technical solutions. Builds and leads long term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts. Positions renewable service agreements as a foundation of managed account relationships. Drives the sales process to aid in encouraging and leading long-term relationships and in seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. How you will do it: Sells, with minimal supervision, the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels. Focuses on improving the existing and new facilities to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives. Sells, renews and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing assigned customers. Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Control offerings. Addresses customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage. Differentiates Johnson Controls services and products from competitors by applying creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in a value-added sales approach. Actively establishes a “mentee” relationship with a Sr. Account Executive within the branch to assist with their development as a professional BE salesperson, with the goal of enhancing his or her productivity. What we look for: Required A minimum of one year of successful field sales experience. Minimum of one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry. Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required, or equivalent industry experience At least one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry. Fire Service Technician III What we look for · High school diploma or equivalent. · Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements. · Minimum of two (2) years of experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound, and communications systems · Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. · Experience interpreting blueprints, diagrams and specifications. · Good working knowledge of computers. · Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. · Able and willing to perform physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. · Able and willing to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. · Able and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings to meet customer requirements. · Willing and able to travel overnight if/when required. · Demonstrate a high level of customer service. · Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. · Willing and able to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. · Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Preferred · Technical training preferred · NICET II preferred · Minimum of three (3) years of experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound, and communications systems HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.23 - $27.40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
