What you will do Under general direction, responsible for the sale of large, complex, bundled offerings with guaranteed savings to high potential, solution sales customers at the C-level. How you will do it
* Sells, with minimal supervision, the JCI offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners and owner representatives at the C-level while reaching optimal profit levels. Particularly focusing on selling performance contracting while ensuring that we achieve maximize share of customers business. Focuses on demonstrating value at the executive level by providing solutions to business and financial challenges as well as working through gateways to achieve joint planning status. Sells, renews and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customer.
* Builds partnering relationships with the economic buyer, owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision making process to drive the solution sales of JCI offerings. Manages ongoing sales process, develops relationship, responds to and anticipates customer needs. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Understands the customer's business and speaks their language. Demonstrates financial and business acumen to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
* Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with prospective customers. Develops network of contacts. Understands and leverages sales process checkpoints as well as demonstrates evidence of gaining small trial closes and commitments. Qualifies and assesses potential customers. Refers leads to other business segments.
* Addresses customer's financial, business, operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions that match the customer's business and financial challenges. Differentiates JCI services and products from competitors based on business benefits and knowledge of competitor's business strategies.
* Maximizes assigned Project Development Engineering resources effectively and efficiently. Ensures the customer and JCI receive maximum value from dedicated and assigned resources. Engages appropriate sales support resources determined by the JCI sales and business process, including COE (construction management services), energy and operational engineering and technical support, financial and legal resources, etc.
* Effectively writes, presents and communicates proposals. Secures major opportunities through the use of financial agreements. Negotiates value, addresses resistance when demonstrated, and closes the sale.
* Utilizes applicable sales tools effectively (Salesforce, Account Management, Account Plan and TAS) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts. Leverages JCI sales process monthly checkpoints to gain progressive commitments from the customer. Manages the sales process steps of the pipeline with a focus on completing the Opportunity Action plan and meeting the milestones in the customer's buying process.

* Leads the sales team by building and fostering team relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff. Develops relationship with Systems and Service sales organization to exceed customers' expectations. Owns and facilitates the customer relationship particularly when selling Performance Contracting initiatives.
* Acts as the customer's advocate in interactions with the JCI organization to ensure the customer obtains the best value from the JCI offerings. Sets appropriate customer expectations on JCI product and service offerings. Participates in final project inspection. Ensures that the customer is trained and oriented to system operation or the value of services delivered.
* Assists in the development of the team or Area Office Solution sales and marketing plans and strategies. Aides in the implementation of these strategies and action plans. Targets new customers based on vertical market strategies.
* Keeps management informed of progress and account status. Knows when to call for assistance from upper management to keep the sales process moving.
* Attends and presents at trade show. Participates in professional organizations.
What we look for
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
* A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.

What you will do
The HVAC Service Sales Representative is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC Service business! You will be responsible for initiating, establishing, and building profitable service relationships between new customers and Johnson Controls (JCI). You will focus on selling renewable maintenance agreements as the key building block for establishing these relationships, and you will work within an assigned geographic territory, working as part of a local branch office and teaming with sales and operations professionals within the branch. Responsibilities:
* Environmental Sales Channel Partner (SCP) Management - Review the Environmental market coverage and partners as needed to increase Environmental sales revenue.
* Manage Environmental Sales Opportunities through the sales cycle and assist Sales Channel Partners in closing project opportunities.
* Utilize Dodge analytics, GovSpend, and dashboard metrics for ENV SCP review meetings.
* Make joint sales calls with Environmental SCP's to position Seepex products & services and manage current Environmental market OEM's and work with Business Development Manager to identify new ones.
* Educate SCP and Environmental Engineers on Seepex Products / Specifications.
* Maintain a list of key biosolids and pump personnel within Engineering firms.
* Review Specifications, position Seepex products and attempt to gain a competitive advantage on bid jobs.
* Direct Environmental Aftermarket Sales Partners and TM's to call on plants as needed.
* Analyze named competitors and record any competitive differences.
* Select Seepex equipment and recommend to Environmental Application Engineers.
* Hold pre-bid meetings with Environmental SCP's to review pricing and set strategy, bid Project with Environmental SCP, and record bid price along with any other relevant data for tracking of projects and report bid results as they become available.
* Identify key competitors in the Environmental market and develop presentations showing seepex advantages compared to these competitors. Stay informed of competitor activities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* 3+ years' experience selling value-based services
* Valid drivers' licenses and a safe driving record

As a Bodewell Appliance Care Technician, your responsibilities will include:
+ Diagnosing and completing in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances

Our Early Career Technical Sales (BEST) Program is a 6-month technical sales development program for Recent College Graduates that focuses on creating market share by strategic selling Johnson Controls' Fire products and services to commercial customers. As part of the program, you will participate in a 6-month training and development program combining classroom, field orientation, and on the job training. What you will do:
Under direct supervision and using established standards, responsible for hardware designs and software programming for HVAC control systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors. Responds to basic warranty calls.
How you will do it:
Selects hardware designs from standard design library for flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
Performs software programming using established standards as a basis of design.
Coordinates the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects. Coordinates factory-mounting processes to meet factory and project schedule.
Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
Gathers field changes from the project team and creates as-built drawings and software. Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Assists in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
Completes paperwork including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

What we look for:
Required
Minimum of three years of experience with installing and/or commissioning Johnson controls Metasys systems including system-level controllers, and working knowledge and experience using Metasys Tools: RAC schedule, CCT, SCT, Visio.
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Demonstrated technical aptitude.
Demonstrated advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools.

What you will do

What will you do:

* Assemble blowers and exhausters according to blueprints.

What you will do
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. Responds to basic warranty calls. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
How you will do it
Loads system-level controller software.
Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Documents change and provide information for as-built documentation.
Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
What we look for
Required
2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 3 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site.
PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC related software.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.13 - 36.44 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
