Position Overview-
The Innovation & Improvement Apprentice is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on support for initiatives that advance operational excellence, innovation, and evaluation across multiple teams within the Innovation & Improvement division. This position offers exposure to diverse areas such as data insights, member and operational excellence, workforce development and transformation, value-based care and quality, and clinical programs. Under the mentorship of improvement advisors, practice coaches, project managers, and program staff, the apprentice will assist with projects that enhance workflows, optimize processes, and assess outcomes to inform organizational learning. This is a 12-month program.
Essential Duties
Cross-Division Support: Assist with improvement and innovation projects across multiple functional areas.
Data & Evaluation: Collect and analyze data to measure impact and support evaluation frameworks.
Process Mapping & Analysis: Document workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Project Coordination: Provide logistical and administrative support for initiatives spanning different teams.
Knowledge Sharing: Help develop materials for training, communication, and reporting.
Continuous Learning: Participate in development activities to build skills in improvement science, evaluation, and innovation practices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, findings, and recommendations.
Collaboration: Work closely with mentors and cross-functional teams to learn best practices in improvement science and innovation.

Requirements
Completion of an OCHIN workforce training program or similar experience (e.g., prior role within OCHIN, member site, or similar organization) preferred.
Interest in process improvement, innovation, and operational excellence
Basic understanding of healthcare operations preferred (candidates with healthcare experience will be given priority)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration, and abilities.
Proficiency with standard office software and willingness to learn new tools
Attention to detail and ability to follow structured methodologies

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. It is recognized that the Company is engaged in a public service requiring continuous operation, and it is agreed that recognition of such an obligation of continuous service is imposed upon both the Company and the Union.
Responsible for construction, operation, and safety of the Company's lines and poles and all equipment attached thereto.
DUTIES: (Essential Job Responsibilities)
* Work safely
* Construct and maintain dead or energized overhead and underground transmission and distribution circuits Install and remove all types of transformers, arresters, fuses, cutouts, switches, and street-lighting equipment.
* Drive articulated boom trucks, ladder trucks, hole-digging and pole-setting equipment, and other equip ment associated with distribution and transmission work.
* Perform pole-top rescue as needed.
* Climb poles to perform work.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required)
* JourneymanLineman card required.
* Hot stick experience required.
* Must possess and maintain a valid CDL driver's license.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA required.
* Must be able to climb.

Position Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Installation
Lead the installation of low-voltage systems, from rough-in, through trim, into final installation.
Ensure all phases of work meet design specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the primary on-site contact for project progress, technical issues, and quality assurance.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to Field Technicians to ensure team success.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during the installation and testing phases.
Project Collaboration
Cooperate with the Project Manager/Coordinator and other stakeholders to plan work schedules, material delivery, and project milestones.
Communicate project updates, challenges, and requirements to the Project Manager/Coordinator.
Assist with equipment programming, testing, and commissioning to ensure full system functionality.
Documentation and Reporting
