About this Role
This job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card.

Perform duties necessary to complete assigned task under the direct supervision of project foreman and project manager. Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times. Demonstrating safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment. To maintain, repair, inspect, and upgrade electrical distribution, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems, and provide critical protection of C-130 aircraft and building occupants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed in the job level.
* Maintain electrical components through preventative maintenance of systems and equipment. From simple repair or replacement of lighting fixtures and electrical devices to advanced maintenance and programming of fire alarm systems and complex electrical components. This work requires knowledge of electrical code, building code, and safe work practices.
* Install new power and lighting circuits where needed, generator and automatic switchgear systems, and any electrical system necessary. Demo existing areas, calculate, redesign, and reconfigure them to suit the new demands of occupants. Estimate time and materials to complete projects efficiently.
