Summary
Our Yuma dock has an immediate opening for a LinemanJourneyman. We will rely on your exceptional work ethic to be responsible for working on new construction projects and maintaining existing underground and overhead facilities. This posting has been designated by the Company as a "Hard-to-Fill" position and therefore is eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus under the terms and conditions of the executed LOMA dated November 11, 2025.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Completed a Registered JourneymanLineman Apprenticeship Program or an equivalent training program (as approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training) PLUS one year experience as a JourneymanLineman**
Commercial Driver's License (Class “A”) with ability to meet all DOT requirements. Must have at least a Class A CDL permit at the time of application, and a clean driving record.
If applying with a CDL Permit, a valid Class A CDL license (with no mechanical restrictions (i.e., airbrakes)) must be obtained prior to the official transfer/start date.
If applying with an out-of-state CDL, a valid Arizona Class A CDL license (with no mechanical restrictions (i.e., airbrakes)) must be obtained within 30 days of the official transfer/start date.
Experience working on all types of distribution lines including 4kv to 21kv and all related equipment required
Must live within reasonable distance of headquarters (one (1) hour).
Must pass written and hands-on exam and successfully demonstrate climbing skills (Travel reimbursement may be available for out of state candidates)
Requires working with aerial equipment, which have weight restrictions of 300 pounds or less

Testing Information
Tests are only administered to referred candidates. More information about our tests and the testing process can be found HERE.
A written [paper and pencil] test will be administered.
A test using a computer with keyboard will be administered.
A hands-on skills test will be administered.
A physical ability test will be administered.

Tests are only administered to referred candidates. More information about our tests and the testing process can be found HERE.
A written [paper and pencil] test will be administered.
A test using a computer with keyboard will be administered.
A hands-on skills test will be administered.

Role Type
Onsite: Requires work to be performed in the field and/or at an APS facility. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, this may include, but is not limited to, working at a power plant, job site, or in the community.

Eligibility:
Must live or relocate within reasonable distance to the headquarters. Reasonable distance is defined as one (1) hour for Metro and State Region locations. Reasonable distance for Troublemen, Local Representatives, and Substation Technicians is defined as thirty (30) minutes for Metro locations and forty-five (45) minutes for State Region locations.
For jobs in departments (System, Reliability, Hotstick) that require the majority of the work be performed out-of-town and as such, employees/crews are not required to report to the established headquarters unless directed by Leadership; the reasonable distance requirement will be waived.*.

Experience or knowledge of Low Voltage systems a plus

Position Summary
As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. A typical day may include:
• Inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns
• Selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health
• Preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscape
• Operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively
• Working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

The pay range for this role will be $23-$28/hr based on experience.
About You

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass-or related experience (preferred)

What You'll Get To Do
As an Electrician you will perform basic and preventative plant maintenance and operational field support. You will maintain and track tools and parts inventory and ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to manufacturer standards. Starting at $37.47 per hour, frequent overtime!
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
High school GED or diploma required
Completion of an apprenticeship program or Electrician certification strongly preferred.
Prefer 2 years prior maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical work.
Some welding experience desired.
Ability to complete maintenance projects in a timely manner to ensure production goals.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions and or accidents.
Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus.
MSHA Part 48 training a plus.
Work Availability - Be available to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.
Physical requirements: sitting standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending (bending at the waist, lifting above the waist and lifting below the waist), kneeling, reaching, grasping (use of both hands), squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements with both hands, use of wrists (flexing or rotating with both wrists), use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, perform duties in all climates i.e. weather, extreme temperatures, tolerate heights, lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, capable of wearing respiratory and other personal protective equipment.
