Job Qualifications: A minimum of a B.S. degree in computer science, physics, engineering or other technical degree from an accredited college or university is required. ABET accredited engineering program preferred. Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional software development experience is required, with at least three years of demonstrable software deliverables with a focus on modeling and simulator development. Working with thermal hydraulic and neutronic analysis software is highly desirable. Working knowledge of an integrated development environment such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code and a revision control system such as Git is required. Previous experience with project management systems like Gitlab or Github is required. Experience with developing software in Fortran, C++, and/or Python is required. Previous experience with GSE simulation software (i.e., SimExec, JTopmeret, JElectric) is required Previous experience with thermal hydraulic system codes (e.g., RELAP5 and Trace) is preferred. Previous experience with neutronic analysis codes (e.g., Simulate 3 and MCNP) is preferred. Demonstrable understanding of basic thermal hydraulic engineering principles is preferred. Demonstrable understanding of basic numerical methods to solve coupled partial differential equations associated with fluid flow and heat transfer is preferred.
