The Interventional /Cath Lab Scrub technologist specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology Labs. The Scrub Tech is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients, under the direction of the Interventional Radiologist and /or Interventional Cardiologist, for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients.
