Performs clerical and/or administrative support duties for identifying, screening and scheduling donors and coordinates payment to said donors. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Recruits, screens, and schedules potential blood donor participants. * Collects, records and monitors donor vital signs. * Collects and/or prepares blood specimens in a high-volume environment. * Performs standard laboratory procedures, including blood processing, blood typing and DNA extraction. * Performs administrative duties associated with lab records and processing payments. * Updates department website for NBDS. * May perform other duties as assigned or necessary. Qualifications * Licensure as a certified State of California Phlebotomist, CPTI or CPTII required.
