Job Description Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to assist and tutor students in a lab setting to complete their educational requirements by providing the knowledge, skills, and assessments essential to obtain a credential in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) field (EMR, EMT, and Paramedic). Additionally, the incumbent will operate virtual and physical equipment and software to assist faculty in running scenario-based learning and assessments. Position Responsibilities * Assist and tutor students in essential emergency skills aligned with EMS discipline standards. Coordinate emergency skills procedures by testing course learning outcomes and assisting with testing of emergency skills/course set-up; supervising students during testing; checking results and recording scores. * Service and maintain emergency skills equipment by checking operations; replacing used or broken equipment; and keeping inventory, stocking, and ordering of equipment as needed. * Maintain emergency skills records by checking worksheets and recording grades.
