Assign incubator location for IVF Lab patients, enter patient information in Electronic Witnessing system, and affix labels on charts, incubators, media setup, and patient wristband. Scan completed IVF/FET lab forms into patient EMR for Doctor/Nurse reference and ensure IVF/FET cycles are sent to business office and genetics. Collect and input on-going SART data, audit charts for required information, transfer SART data from EMR into current database, and coordinate SART reporting to meet CDC requirements. Interpret ART notes to enter and place orders in IVF Laboratory information system (LIS) and ensure Genetics' CCS results are recorded in LIS. Assist cryopreservation specialist with embryo scheduling, physical cyro-inventory, and embryo shipment documentation. Maintain/update Cryoinventory database, Transfer database, and Harvest database; assist with data manipulation and presentation as needed. Obtain/maintain Mayo Clinic's “Shipping and Receiving Hazardous Materials” certification. Serve as a witness to the Embryologist during CCS processing, vitrification, and warming. Review disposition and dispose of embryo(s)/oocytes and maintain accurate records. Our Dayton, NJ laboratory is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician I to join their General Chemistry team! The Lab Technician I will prepare samples with accuracy and precision in accordance to SGS' analytical SOPs. Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. Always follow safe laboratory practices and maintain a safe working environment. Job Functions After appropriate training independently prepare samples for analysis according to SGS' analytical SOPs using basic instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of prep instruments/equipment May assist with validation and MDL studies. Inputs and maintains technical information as needed to support the laboratory functions/operations. Maintains Laboratory Notebook where applicable. Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as required.
