Position Summary
We're seeking a QA/QC Technician to support project quality and performance through on-site inspections, documentation, and team coordination. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the company's high standards of consistency, accuracy, and safety.

What You'll Do
Conduct field inspections of underground systems, temporary power, switchgear, and equipment installations

Use the QuickBase QA/QC App to record inspections, document issues, and manage nonconformance reports
Verify torque and megger testing results and closeout documentation accuracy

Travel to job sites, including occasional out-of-town projects

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repeatable flour evaluation tests and monitor products against specification sheets. Learn to operate laboratory equipment and software, achieving accurate results. Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Perform lab tests using both sensory analysis and standard laboratory procedures. Document results and communicate them to management and production teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment by adhering to Food Safety and GMP policies. Contribute to other cleaning duties outside of the lab as requested.
- Assist the Quality Control Manager with lab and food safety initiatives, as well as other projects as needed, including packaging for e-commerce distribution.
- Determine daily prioritization and preparation of incoming samples for testing.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to research and development projects.
- Maintain a stock of supplies and communicate needs to purchasing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Quality Control or lab work. Experience in food service or baking is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for several hours a day (cushioned mats provided).

-Candidates must be able to hear, understand, and execute spoken directions throughout the day in a fast-paced production environment.
-Candidates must be able to work while wearing personal PPE when required including hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, gloves, protective glasses, provided N95 masks, and lab coats. These are not all regularly worn in the lab, but may be worn during some duties.

Risk of cuts or abrasions is present, especially when dealing with panels, or maneuvering between units for splice plate measurements or mechanical checks.

Supporting our Recharge Service Center with COVID -19 research studies as well as other lung disease research to both internal and external clients. Other responsibilities of the Research Technician include supporting staff with additional workload which can entail sterile tissue culture duties, preparing basic reagents and solutions, and restocking the lab on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Our ideal candidate possesses the following: Proficiency in performing computer data entry and have database organization skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. Ability to follow detailed protocols precisely. General knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment and terminology. Ability to operate and care for lab equipment such as the incubators, biological cabinets, autoclaves, freezers, stir plate, pH meters, weigh scales, microscopes, and centrifuges. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to work independently, take the initiative and multitask. Must be able to prioritize, manage tasks, and handle a variety of demands and have excellent organizational skills, keen attention to details and self-review of work for accuracy and completeness. Must have valid NC Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Relevant laboratory experience is preferred.

Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM; 40 hours/ week
