WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This position is focused on assisting the crew with the completion of daily tasks with the use of a variety of techniques and equipment.
Examples of daily tasks:
Maintaining and operating pneumatic and electrical tools, such as concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and hand-operated trenchers.
Lifting, carrying, and holding building materials, tools, and supplies.
Joining, wrapping, sealing, and bedding sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for hard-working individuals who enjoy being active and working on their feet throughout the day. The ideal candidate must also be able to use essential tools such as tape measurers, hammers, tool belts, and lineman pliers to perform their assigned tasks accurately.

Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.

Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
Load, unload building materials, machinery, and tools.
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.
Learn and follow safety regulations.
Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, and masons.
Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.

CDL Driver/Laborer Job Responsibilities:
· Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
· Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck flatbed to prevent damage/injury.
· Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route. Fuels truck as needed.
· Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport.
· Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
· Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs and submit daily.
· Loading, unloading, and driving trucks.
· Bend and reach to load and unload van, truck, or personal vehicle.
· Adhere to company rules and regulations.
· Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
· Other duties may be assigned.
· Always make safety a priority.
· Effectively Operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines (paint/thermoplastic), forklift, hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart.
· Install Preformed Thermoplastic.
· Manual Labor.
CDL Driver/Laborer Required Qualifications:
· Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts.
· Comfortable with long-haul transport
· Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems.
· Map reading and route planning experience.

· Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.

Your Job Summary
The construction laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at general building and highway/heavy construction projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials. The position may assist other craft workers.
Your Responsibilities
• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in general or heavy/highway construction projects; performs manual work.
• Shovels bituminous concrete (asphalt) into construction areas.
• Excavates and fills trenches and ditches.
• Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Performs materials handling and storage.

• Providing assistance to Foremen and other Supervisors as needed, mixing, pouring and spreading materials, erecting and stripping form work.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with time provided for lunch, hours may vary. Work may be local or out of town in which case overnight stays are required. This position frequently requires long hours and weekend work.
Travel/ Driving
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
