A laundry attendant is responsible for all laundry activities in an establishment, which involves washing, drying, folding, and organizing textiles. There are also instances when a laundry attendant is assigned to supervise a laundry room filled with coin-operated machines for public use. Usually working in hotels or similar establishments, there are instances when a laundry attendant must deliver clothing or laundry to the housekeeping staff or guest rooms.
