Review the checklist after the vehicle is checked in to evaluate for cost-effective and necessary repairs Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment Evaluate safety and appearance, and perform general maintenance as required. Perform basic maintenance and repairs such as spark plug, worn parts, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors, thoroughly and accurately, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels Conduct test drives before and after repairs to ensure successful resolution of issues. Collaborate with the Buyer to identify vehicles requiring external repairs and manage the delivery and pickup process with outside repair shops. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, invoices, and inspection reports on a daily basis. Manage the inventory of shop supplies to ensure availability for repairs.
