Responsibilities
MaxLinear is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to focus on Optical Modules, AECs, and Data Center Applications and the following:
Manage the validation and analysis of ASICs used in Optical Modules, AECs, and Data Center Applications, including infrastructure supporting Generative Artificial Intelligence workloads
Test automation development and emulation test development supporting product development from concept through production and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and reliable designs
Collaborate with design, systems, and hardware teams to validate designs in pre-silicon and silicon phases for high-performance data center and AI applications
Lead technical activities for characterization and validation of high-speed serial interface and re-timer designs
Develop reference boards and test platforms for evaluation and customer support in cloud-scale environments
Support debugging and optimization of high-speed links in lab and field environments
Qualifications
Proven experience with high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes) used in data center and AI systems
Expertise in DSP re-timer architectures and signal processing techniques
Strong background in signal integrity analysis, PCB design, and simulation tools (ADS, Cadence, Matlab)
Hands-on experience with test and measurement, and debug of high-speed links
Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 5 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience, or Ph.D.
Compensation and Benefits
MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.
MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range of: $104,728 to $162,656 Annually

Responsibilities
Help facilitate inclusion of participant into typical program day
Work individually with a participant with special needs
Ensure safety, well-being of participants to include physical and personal care hygiene
Implement behavior strategies that support the participant in the program
Provide continual supervision and comfort to participants and serve as a leader and positive role model
Facilitate activities, academic enrichment, games, crafts and other program activities
Create an age appropriate learning environment, which allows for and fosters creativity and individuality
Maintain daily communication with supervisor, staff, participants and parents
Provide resources and effective strategies that support the participant to other staff
Follow and maintain YMCA standards, goals and objectives
Keep and maintain ongoing participant documentation for services and accountability
The physical ability work with participants who require diapering and/or lifting services
Must have verbal, visual and auditory abilities to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
Ability to work with a culturally diverse community
Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate policies and procedures
The physical ability to lead in group activities and to perform related physical skills

Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age and high school graduate or GED
Education may vary per the department or program of hire:
Completion of 48 college units, or passed CAPE/ Instructional Aide proficiency exam, or 12 units in Child Development or related field which can include: Arts, Early Childhood Education, Education, Humanities, Physical Education, Psychology, Recreation, Sociology, and Theater
1 - 2 years advanced experience working with participants with special needs/social-emotional/behavior support needs ages 0-21
Experience in behavior modification strategies and reinforcement systems are desirable
Fingerprint clearance from DOJ/FBI required prior to working; additional CACI clearance depending on the department of hire
TB test clearance within 60 days prior to employment or prior to working at YMCA program
Completion of Child Abuse Prevention Training prior to working with program participants
CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
American Red Cross
American Heart Association
American Safety & Health Institute
