Receive instructions from production supervisor and from operations on production plan
Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements
Inventory control and cycle counts
Maintain a clean working environment
Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs.
Must have knowledge of hand tools

Performs other duties and/or completes training as required by Supervisor.

Primary Function Summary

Active participant in the Elimination of Waste Team meetings
Support the Company's Goals and Objectives
Operate various assembly machinery within the secondary operations per operator instructions
Visually look over parts to assure proper quality, uses gauges as requires, per Control Plan/Quality check sheet
Responsible for quality of all production parts produced in their respective work cell
Reporting any quality defects to the Team Leader or Supervisor
Completing and updating all paperwork on a daily basis (production reports, PPLH, scrap reports, 5"S" housekeeping, etc.)
Scanning and printing SAP product labels

Key Responsibilities:

Attach product labels and mark identifying information on parts
Reading blueprints and schematics is preferred to determine component parts and assembly sequences of actuator units
Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies as required
Drill, tap and ream using drill presses and portable power drills
Follow the safety rules and contribute as a team player
Any additional task as requested by the organization
Qualifications:Min 2 years of related experience
High School Graduate (preferred)

Physical Requirements:
