This role requires hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and inspecting components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, supporting continuous production flow, and assisting team members across different classification levels. * Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to assemble and install parts. * Set up and operate manual and automated assembly equipment and portable machinery. * Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing during or after final assembly. * Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality requirements. * Identify, report, and investigate errors in parts, tools, or assembly procedures. * Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g., changing filters, light bulbs, maintaining coolant levels). * Assist in training, coaching, and supporting other team members. * Document and report discrepancies according to company procedures. * Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified. * Support continuous product flow by efficiently moving parts and assemblies. * Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift and work overtime/weekends as needed. Qualifications * Local candidates strongly preferred. * Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and flexible to work other shifts if required. * Must be able to work overtime and weekends per business needs. * Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, blueprints, and specifications. * Experience with assembly operations, functional testing, and quality inspections. * Comfortable with manual labor, standing for long periods, and handling tools/machinery. * Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality control.
