Responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer:

Plan, schedule, execute, and document thermal analysis campaigns for transport-category aircraft in support of cross-functional engineering teams
Review, synthesize, and present analysis results to internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers
Collaborate with flight-test and ground-test teams to plan data collection and reduce test data for analysis model validation and certification compliance
Identify gaps in current thermal-analysis workflows, support training efforts, and recommend tools to strengthen program execution
Qualifications of the Aerospace Engineer:
Strong knowledge of core engineering principles and practices
Hands-on experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools to analyze aerodynamic and heat-transfer behaviors in aerospace applications
Experience with free- and forced-convection heat-transfer modeling for aircraft interiors
Proven ability to perform thermal analyses in support of 14 CFR Part 25 Type Certification (TC) or Supplemental Type Certification (STC) programs
Understanding of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Experience working within multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related field

Primary PurposeFunctions in a technician capacity, working primarily in the field, to gather data for engineering and design of aerial, underground, and buried fiber optic facilities. This position requires frequent travel around suburban Dublin/San Jose and occasionally other metro areas.
