THE POSITION - MARKETING INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
* Assist marketing department with administrative duties
* Assist marketers with marketing and social media initiatives
* Provide ideas around marketing tours and shows
* Compile and analyze social media analytics
* Work with marketing team members and their media contacts in various markets for promotional support
* Assist marketers as they analyze local marketing plans for tours, providing input
* Compile distribution list for flyers and posters
* Research target markets for concerts
* Research digital avenues in various markets
* Maintain contact list for local media
* Research and contact influencers to use on marketing campaigns
* Set up promotions with approved influencers
* Research artists for marketing opportunities
* Track artist news and updates for social media
* Write copy for marketing materials and social media posts
* Work with digital team to provide accurate and up-to-date show info in order to build social media ads
* Cross-reference artist websites and socials for confirmation of correct show information
* Update marketing grids
* Meet with additional members of our team, including talent buyers and production managers, to learn more about the live music industry
* Various office tasks
* Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* This role is a hybrid of in-office and at-home work. It is not a remote internship opportunity. We ask that you work 10-12 hours per week in the office.

THE JOB
The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the security and safety of assigned C3 Presents festivals and events. Key duties include developing and implementing security protocols, managing security staff (including hiring and training), ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and responding to incidents.
