Role Description:
As a Loan Servicing Analyst, your ability to prioritize, navigate robust servicing procedures and to institute and refine internal controls will be critical to this function and the Company's growth. Primary responsibilities for the Loan Servicing Analyst is to contribute to all aspects of the Servicing Pipeline by providing essential analytical and operational support to the Head of Core Servicing.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of loan data for effective onboarding and servicing of loans
Ensure accurate remittance and loan activity reporting
Work with Company accountants in providing guidance with books & records- standardize reporting, track cash flows, proceeds, and expenses
Manage remittance reporting and surveillance activities
Review servicing reports, process transactions, review and reconcile servicing Trial Balance
Resolve servicing bottlenecks and friction points
Build best in class reporting, prepare analysis over company transaction history, counterparty metrics, performance information and forecasts
Work with debt providers, including coordination of funding activities and data validation over loan and debt balances
Prepare settlement statements/trade documents for loan trades/ bulk sales and purchases
Interact with debt providers including data validation over loan and debt facilities being pledged/or borrowed against
Build relationship with rating agencies; manage securitization limits, reinvestment periods
Qualifications:
Advance Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, familiar with most if not all functions in Excel.
Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.

SEC is housed for administrative purposes only within DECD.
SEC is responsible for overseeing the verification of social equity applicants, as defined in law, creating new programs to support both cannabis businesses and businesses in other industries, and managing the more general community investments derived from cannabis tax revenue. SEC works closely with multiple Connecticut agencies and partners, including DECD and the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP), to carry out its duties.

* Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience
* Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $8 million (minimum)

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a broad range of audiences
* Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology

2. - Pay all FHA premiums within 10 days of closing. Upload funding packages within 48 hours of performing post closing review
3. -Responsible for the management of closing and clear to close pipelines
4. -Submission of accurate closing packages to attorneys at least 24 hours in advance
5. -Consistently utilize all portions of the Closing Compliance and File Audit Checklist during each step of the closing/funding process.
6. -Effectively communicate with attorneys, borrowers, and co-workers in a professional and positive manner.
7. -Accurately review closing disclosures and all legal documents (prior to closing and post closing) to certify that the Banks' proper lien position, compliance and investor requirements have been properly fulfilled. Gather any missing documentation and ensure packages are complete and well documented.
8. - Order wires on closing transactions daily so funds reach the closing agent on the day of closing.
9. -Responsible for reviewing all signed funding documents sent from the closing agent, and confirming all "at closing" conditions on the final loan approval have been met prior to issuing the funding.
10. -Complete all past close closing to board loans to servicing by the 15th of the month for the previous month.
11. -Responsible for preparing training documentation of all closing functions and serves as a resource to Closers within the department.
