Duties & Responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY
As a "subject matter expert", will provide training, guidance, and encouragement to less experienced bankers/MLOs in a designated region of branches. Following established policies and department procedures, responsible for loan production and processing to support fee income growth and provide the highest level of expertise and client service. To be able to work with branches and clients and provide excellent client service. Assess mortgage needs of clients and provide various beneficial Cathay Bank mortgage products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Travel to assigned Branches and assist clients who are interested in residential mortgages. Provide expertise and address questions, resolve problems, and identify ways to meet the client's financial needs.
Assist clients to complete loan applications. Gather information and process each file from initial approval to closing in a timely manner.
Act as a liaison between branches, underwriter, closing agents and other related parties.
Follow up with clients and related parties on outstanding loan conditions, provide assistance to resolve processing problems.
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all loans.
Submit accurate information that constitutes a complete loan application as required by regulations.
Input correct loan information into the system for processing. Ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with Bank policy.
Maintain pipeline report and notify management of status as needed.
Assist branch personnel in cross-selling other bank products and services, to ensure an outstanding client experience for existing and prospective clients.
Assist branches to organize and conduct mortgage seminars as needed.
Participate with real estate affiliated organizations to help promote the bank and the banks products.
Must be knowledgeable with all bank products with a proven track record in loan closings.
Network with Real Estate Agents for referrals.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Education: Associates Degree preferred.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years mortgage lending and banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations and loan processing in a multi-state lending environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high production environment. The Construction Disbursement Administration (CDA) group is responsible for managing roughly 200 commercial construction projects simultaneously. * Review mortgage applications taken by licensed loan officers; assist in collecting, uploading, and labeling documents within our Loan Origination system. Order disclosures, prepare income calculations, run automated underwriting, prepare, and scrub files prior to submitting to underwriting.
* Troubleshoot loan files. Become an expert in loan programs and qualifications.
* Take inbound live transfer calls / make outbound phone calls and gather the necessary information and commitment to transfer them to our sales floor. Provide excellent customer service to GoodLeap customers.
* Attend daily training in preparation for your promotion into sales or take NMLS test.

Credit9 is seeking a Bilingual Loan Servicing Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will assists in the daily communications and servicing of past-due accounts on an inbound and outbound basis. They will be supported and work directly with the Team Lead and Collections supervisor. The Collections agent will work directly with clients to resolve delinquency by creating payment plans and will assist in enrolling in hardship assistance programs to prevent future delinquency.
Compensation: $20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience plus bonus.
Location: Remote - Must be located within the United States.
Responsibilities:
Improve overall portfolio health through the assistance of past-due clients.
Maintain proper communications including, but not limited to:
Inbound and Outbound Calls
Inbound and Outbound Emails
Servicing via SMS messaging and online chats
Maintain symbiotically successful relationships between Credit9 and its customers by providing exceptional customer service and professional collections tactics.
