Responsibilities
Serve our members.
Maintain up to date knowledge on loan processing of consumer, real estate and business lending products including industry, and regulatory updates and trends.
Perform processing functions including document preparation, delivery through electronic signature, loan disbursement, and payroll deduction setup.
Prepare all federally regulated disclosures on home equity loans according to regulations.
Perform other aspects of loan processing including processing payoffs, scanning, and GL postings.
Review loan documents post-close for efficacy and maintain low loan errors.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that shows confidence, confidentiality and professionalism with members, vendors, coworkers and management.
Must maintain strictly confidential information pertaining to the Credit Association, member, and employee business.
Maintains regulatory compliance including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Ensures self and all direct reports follow the CARE and QA Service Standards and maintain excellent understanding of FECA products and services.

Position Overview:
The Loan Processor is responsible for providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan and orders third party documentation by communicating directly with the customer and/or Loan Officer. The Loan Processor provides proper disclosures when required by applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower's credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program before submitting to underwriting.
Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
Complete the required loan checklist.
Verify that an application is complete and accurate; identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.
Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on the documents; communicate directly with the Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain initial and any missing documentation required to qualify for the loan.
Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures.
Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
Verify that vendor orders are complete, invoices are received and in the applicant's E-file.
Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
Assist set-up of loans.
Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.
Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel.
Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage investors.
Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' residential mortgage processing experience.
Experience with Encompass.
Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including but not limited to Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents, preferred.

* Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
* Assist set-up of loans.
* Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.
* Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel.

Summary:
The Specialized Lending ACCOUNT MANAGER I (Loan Closing Officer - LCO) partners with the Relationship Officers, Portfolio Managers and the Syndication Team to facilitate the closing of new deals and subsequent amendments for syndications and participations where First Horizon Bank is either the Lead Bank/Agent or a Participant/Investor.
The LCO ensures all documents support the approved credit request for a timely and well-coordinated closing. These facilities are extended to the Bank's largest and highest value clients and require individuals with strong business acumen, poise under pressure, impeccable customer service skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include collecting required due diligence for closing, verifying and funding the initial closing advances with associated balanced GL entries, collecting fees, advising the Bank Group of any closing activities, booking of new facilities and performing maintenance. The LCO is also responsible for arranging the imaging of loan documentation post-closing and assisting with clearing resulting loan exceptions.
Knowledge:
* Extensive understanding of syndication and participation concepts, i.e. pro rata shares, interest/fee accruals, takedowns etc.
* Complex syndicated and agented loan structures and documentation.
* General Ledger and reconciliation functions.
* Real Estate Due Diligence and Flood Compliance
