Must demonstrate a positive attitude, a professional image, be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a high degree of urgency and accuracy. Must be able to build relationships in the community and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Essential Functions: Work as part of the Loan Servicing team to ensure each loan is professionally serviced and supported. This may include the following tasks: Fund and book new loans. Review new loan documents and new loan records for completeness, accuracy and compliance. Process documentation to ensure security instruments are properly collected and processed with credit union's lien position recorded as expected. Follow up for final documents from outside vendors and agencies. File, scan and store documents under established procedures. Prepare secondary market files for shipping to investors and process purchase advices when loans are sold. Maintain collateral insurance on member loans within established procedures. Track insurance and property taxes, utilizing internal and vendor reports. Follow up for invoices and lapses in coverage. Force place insurance when necessary and revoke escrow waivers when appropriate. Schedule and process mortgage escrow disbursements and member escrow deposits. Perform private mortgage insurance activations and terminations. Process early termination requests from members within credit union and investor guidelines. Annual mortgage escrow analysis, process escrow shortage payments and generate replacement analysis. Process Hazard/Flood Insurance, Disability, Debt Protection, Credit Life and Life Share claims. Post payoffs, principal curtailments, reversals, adjustments and corrections on member loans. Process Skip-A-Pays on consumer loans. Process lien releases, utilizing internal reports and vendors. Scan released documents into Synergy. Prepare files for post funding quality control reviews and examiner requests. Transmit investor reporting and perform secondary market reconciling. Perform loss mitigation and foreclosure transactions and reporting tasks. Process escrow holdback, new construction and insurance claim draws. Ability to assist and respond to member's and credit union staff inquiries by researching systems and documents. Present exception requests to VP Loan Servicing for feedback or approval. Cross train in all aspects of servicing. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and implement new procedures. Represent the Credit Union with honesty, integrity and trust at all times. Adhere to established internal policies and procedures for compliance. Complete required compliance training in a timely manner and comply with all regulations within scope of the position. Adhere to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and anti-money laundering regulations. Assists VP Loan Servicing, performing duties as assigned. Base Expectations: Be willing to perform any duty (beyond Essential Functions above) as assigned. Versatility and problem-solving skills are essential to this position. Demonstrate a good understanding of CU's loan policies and product knowledge. Demonstrate a good understanding of investor guidelines. Possess a detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Software applications that is adequate to perform the duties assigned. Must demonstrate a basic knowledge of accounting principles, and maintain a high degree of accuracy. Be a team player and serve as a role model for all credit union staff. Maintain a friendly, professional, positive attitude and provide prompt, efficient and confidential service. Ensure good working relationships with vendors and investors. Communicate effectively and professionally with members, coworkers and management, including verbal and written communication. Demonstrates ability to gather information, work independently and use exceptional judgment. Follows the Credit Union's Member Service Standards and Telephone Etiquette. Support management. Recommend/cross sell additional service opportunities. Perform other functions as requested. Working Conditions: Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 60 lbs. New Specialists will demonstrate safe and conscientious practices with a preceptor and complete basic ECLS competency prior to solo staffing. Complete competencies on Cardiohelp and at least one variety of a component system pump within the first 3 months of employment. Demonstrate a complete circuit check and verbalize the significance of the findings and potential concerns. Make appropriate adjustments to blood flow as directed and anticipate the changes in pressure and flow variables being monitored. Verbalize the significance of monitoring SvO2. Interpret ABGs and make appropriate sweep changes based on standard sweep calculation as directed.
