Calyx Containers is looking for a motivated and talented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing team. This position will support the growing Calyx Operations ecosystem through the effective management of supply chain activities including; Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, S&OP management and other duties as assigned ensuring service, cost, and cash targets and achieved.
The Supply Chain Coordinator should be an analytically and results oriented individual with demonstrable experience in product manufacturing, operations, and global supply chain. This position will have defined initiatives and shown success through data-backed execution. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is on-site at our facility in West Valley City.
Our co-founders first started this as a packaging design company (well, really started as a stuffed animal bong bag company…) and moved to UT to construct one of the most advanced digital printing innovation centers in the country. We recently launched a new cultivation technology called Calyx Cure that is already taking the industry by storm - and we need help managing our growing supply chain.
This position is required to be in-person at the Calyx Spaceship (our manufacturing facility & HQ) in Salt Lake City, UT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
S&OP / Demand & Supply Planning
Own the monthly S&OP meeting. Gather demand inputs (sales pipeline, promotions, run-rates), prepare the supply plan, and drive cross-functional consensus.
Translate the demand plan into MPS/MRP signals for both internal materials/ chemicals and externally produced products.
Build and maintain item planning parameters (safety stock, reorder points, MOQ, lead time, yield).
VMI & Replenishment
Oversee Calyx Cure inventory flows - from production through global fulfillment centers - ensuring stock availability and minimizing obsolescence.
Foster relationships with manufacturing partners and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to align production and replenishment schedules.
Run VMI for assigned accounts: forecast at SKU/site, publish reorder proposals, and execute replenishment within agreed min/max and kanban rules.
Maintain vendor scorecards (fill rate, OTIF, forecast accuracy)
Own global order management execution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional communication.
Inventory Control
Accountable for Inventory Accuracy internally and externally
Perform and manage physical inventory counts

Data & Systems

EQUIPMENT
Design and implement a structured inventory management process for uniforms, VIK product and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking, organized storage, and timely updates to meet operational needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all uniform-related inquiries and requests.
Partner with team managers, and Foundation / Partnership staff to support uniform policies and manage special gear requests.
Collaborate with Athletic, Partnership, and Foundation teams to coordinate uniform orders, shipping, and distribution to staff.
Provide on-site support for uniform and gear needs at USSS-sanctioned events.
Work with legal to execute contractual agreements with providers.
TRAVEL
Oversee operational travel partnerships and assist athlete and staff bookings through the organization's preferred travel systems, including air travel and car rentals.
Develop logistics strategies and collaborate with internal teams and partners to optimize travel programs, suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with tracking travel expenses and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support budget alignment.
Deliver training on travel systems and safe practices while driving process improvements and best practices through benchmarking.
Provide guidance and support to staff on travel-related questions and needs.

Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance
Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time
Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching
Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment

TRAVEL
