Job Description
The MachineOperator may be assigned to the embossing, sealing, or inspection departments to support the needs of the business. In this role, you will be assigned to one of three shifts (1st Shift, 2nd Shift, or 3rd Shift). The shift schedules are Monday-Friday and the hours for each are as follows: 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, 3rd Shift 11:00pm-7:30am. *3rd shift Monday starts at 11:00pm Sunday night. Training for this position will take place on 1st Shift. You must be able to complete your training on 1st Shift before moving to 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift. Overtime opportunities are regularly available, depending on the needs of the business.
Activities and duties may vary depending upon site-specific needs and daily work assignments. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform the Six Sigma starting procedures.

+ Wash and lubricate belts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Set up the machine between runs to exact sticker and label specifications.
Inspect materials before and after cutting to verify accuracy and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and closing tasks as needed.
Troubleshoot and communicate errors or issues to the proper teammates.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and orders.
Make suggestions for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree or at least some college completed.
6+ months experience in printing or troubleshooting preferred but we'll train the right mechanically curious person.
Basic math skills and ability to do conversions between metric and standard systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs., bending, squatting, overhead reaching, frequent walking, and using hands for manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, amazing communication skills and ability to work effectively (and thrive!) as part of a team.
Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures.
Curious in nature, take great pride in work ethic, and be committed to excellence.

Essential Job Functions
* Operate various high speed liquid filling machinery including but not limited to fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, depalletizes case erectors, and heat induction sealers case erectors, etc.
* Examine and act on production orders to determine quantities to be manufactured, job specifications and or special instructions.
* Maintain time and production records.
* Maintain quality standards.
* Conduct basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers.
* Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
* Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
