Machine operator job in New Haven, CT
This temporary-to-permanent position primarily involves deburring thin gauge metal parts using a variety of tools, including small belt sanders, finishing balls on deburr wheels, vibratory machines, and hand-held deburr tools. Candidates must have excellent eye-hand coordination and the ability to remain focused while sitting for long periods.
Additional duties may include learning new tasks such as ink stamping, bagging parts, operating hydraulic or mechanical presses, spot welders, fly presses, or mechanical power presses.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the aerospace industry is helpful but not required
Must be able to work 40 hours per week; flexibility required as overtime may be necessary
