Job Description The Extrusion Operator will set up and run various extrusion machines and ancillary equipment in the manufacturing of medical and non-medical extruded tubing. The operator will be expected to perform his/her job duties safely and with attention to the execution of all tasks with efficiency and quality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set ups, tear downs, operates and cleans extrusion machines and ancillary equipment within supplied specification. Performs moisture analysis on raw materials and ensures utmost quality of extruded product by performing quality inspections using a variety of measurement equipment including, but not limited to: Pin gauges Micrometers Verniers Video microscopes Laser micrometers Troubleshoots extrusion issues as needed.
