Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems on printing machines.
Complete work assigned by Group Leader or Supervisor.
Communicate activities with Group Leader and other members of department.
Maintain neat and orderly appearance of shop and printing machine.
Obtain parts in emergency cases.
Assist other departments as requested by Group Leader or Supervisor.
Seek training to stay current with job requirements.
Assume control of machine when a situation arises which has potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
AUTHORITIES

Shut down machines for safety concerns
Procure parts for machines
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma / GED equivalent.
Certified Maintenance Mechanic.
Ability to lift 50 pounds at a minimum of 10 times per shift and lift 50 pounds over shoulder height occasionally.
Ability to occasionally climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance.
Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others. Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.
Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms and horns on forklifts.
Stereoptic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater and ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inches.
Ability to work at heights (with or without fall protection). Must not be at risk for sudden alterations in consciousness.
Able to climb ladders safely and without assistance for a minimum of 15 times per shift.
Verbal communication adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in other areas of the complex.

Position Description
Origis Services, LLC is a rapidly expanding Operations and Maintenance provider in the United States. The position of Solar Technician is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, test, repair, and install equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar power plants in accordance with established standards and procedures; always maintains safety and professionalism
Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner
Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment. Tests installed equipment, ensuring proper working order including daily mechanical electrical inspections
Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to; work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules
Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
Maintain high quality control on provided tools, vehicles and materials
Train, mentor and develop laborers into Apprentices
Ensure continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements
May be required to work outside of normal business hours as necessary. Maintain on-call rotation schedule.

**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of Delta VFDs, heat elements, heat exchangers, Eurotherm controllers, and E-switches.
+ Handle basic PLC troubleshooting, including Ladder Logic, but programming is not required.
+ Operate and maintain 19 extruders across 7 production lines, adjusting line-ups based on demand.
+ Oversee the operation of dust collectors, air handlers, and 37B Cumberland grinders.
+ Utilize mechanical and electrical skills, particularly on 480V systems.
+ Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and manage scheduling using e-Mate.
+ Respond to line calls and report to the production line as needed.
+ Work primarily from 7:00am to 3:30pm with occasional overtime, and weekends as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, including experience with VFDs, sensors, and HMIs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical or equivalent experience ( 10-15 years)
Working knowledge of engineering plastics compounding operations including processing and control techniques with the ability to apply the same.
Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing safety requirements.
Working knowledge of statistical techniques and computer systems - including SAP - for the purpose of analysis and reporting.
Working knowledge of various preventive/predictive maintenance systems, especially machinery vibration analysis, lubrication systems, and oil analysis.
A basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the major engineering disciplines with thorough knowledge in his particular field.

We offer a competitive compensation package including a starting pay rate of $40.74/hour and increasing to $43.41/hour after training, the opportunity to earn up to a 5% bonus, and full health benefits on day 1! This position will initially train on the day shift; however, it will be assigned to a 12-hour rotating schedule post-training. Essential Duties
* Detects, reports, and repairs faulty operation, defective material and equipment, and other unusual conditions to teammates and appropriate personnel.
* Collaborates with appropriate personnel to transmit and exchange information pertinent to work-related activities.
* Responsible for the operation of machines and equipment in compliance with Standard Operating Procedure.
* Responsible for communicating quality and machine problems to the supervisor, team members, and maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment resulting in operational downtime, ensuring the essential care, maintenance, and operation of the equipment. Repairs requiring than 60 minutes and/or external resources must be reported to your supervisor (or designee).
* Records essential data onto Preventive Maintenance work orders and Down Day work orders to ensure proper collection of data for maintenance and operation staff.
* Verify component information, specifications, and location before installation to ensure that appropriate parts are installed in exact specifications as replaced parts.
* Reads instructions, prints, manuals, and written procedural instructions.
* Safely and professionally utilize hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and forklifts.
* Works on pipe systems, which would involve repairing, modifying, and installing systems.
* Perform all phases of welding, including MIG, TIG, and SMAW.
* Use an acetylene torch and plasma cutter.
* Perform millwright work such as aligning a pump and motor with a laser alignment tool, install sheaves, belts, aligning equipment, and checking installation for square and belt tension.
* Basic understanding of the Mill and Lathe operation
* Remove and install bearings and be able to perform all maintenance work required on bearings.
* Works with applicable predictive technologies to improve operations.
* Works in conjunction with Operations to ensure that all equipment has been tested and is working in a safe manner and with satisfactory results.
* Assists with maintaining accurate records to include but not limited to: Maximo, storeroom, calibration, and drawings.
* Assists in the supervision of the design of new equipment as well as replacement equipment, to enhance the performance of plant processes.
* Complete Preventive Maintenance and Down Day work orders with precision, ensuring that all components are verified for proper operation prior to startup.
* Works in conjunction with Operations to ensure that all equipment has been tested and is working in a safe manner and with satisfactory results.
* Work scheduled shifts and overtime as assigned.
* Completes Daily Paperwork to be turned in at the end of each shift, properly documenting all observed details (includes maintaining mechanical log).
* Performs all work in a safe, efficient manner and follows all safety procedures.
* Participates in the continuing training process.
* Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
