DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. * Provides advanced technical expertise and guidance to Maintenance Technicians, including troubleshooting complex machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC issues. * Ensures all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and company safety regulations. * Oversees the installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment, including Ishida scales, pumps, compressors, and robotic systems. * Leads efforts in diagnosing and repairing advanced mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, including PLC troubleshooting, gear reducer rebuilding, and welding. * Reviews and interprets schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment to guide maintenance activities. * Assists Planner/Scheduler in Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. * Trains and mentors maintenance team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. * Communicates effectively with management, co-workers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address maintenance needs. * Acts as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related issues and provides solutions to minimize disruptions. * Acts as the primary point of contact for third party vendors for onsite troubleshooting, upgrades, and planned maintenance tasks. * Performs the job responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence. * Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: * High School Diploma or GED. * 5+ years of experience in maintenance * Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. * Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, motor controllers, low voltage electrical systems, and variable frequency drives. * Expertise in welding techniques (MIG, Stick, TIG) and structural fabrication. * Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment. * Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and company safety standards (LOTO, CSE, PPE, etc. ). * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
