As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of processing and packaging lines and equipment.
Shift hours:
* 8-hour shifts (Monday through Friday)
* 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm
* 3rd shift: 11 pm to 7 am
* This position is a Monday through Friday schedule with an occasional Saturday shift
* Currently hiring for 2nd and/or 3rd Shift (shift dependent upon business need)
* Training will be on 1st shift (7 am to 3 pm) for up to 10 weeks and then transfer to assigned shift

About our Location:
At our Avon Mill, we produce 50 lb. bags of flour that are distributed to restaurants, cruise ships, hotels, schools, as well as Betty Crocker dry mix pouches. Our plant is unique in that we have two product platforms: flour and dry mixes. The flour we produce is integrated into our Betty Crocker mixes. We are a small plant with a great culture where you will get to know the people you work with. Fun facts about Avon are that we produce an average of 1.1 millions pounds of flour a day and about 100 million Betty Crocker pouches a year. When making our chocolate chip cookie mix, around 2000 lbs of chocolate is added per hour to the packaging line!

Essential Functions
Cutting fiberglass cloth to size, following template or blueprints, using cutting machines, scissors, or knives.
Applying layers of fiberglass cloth onto mold or fixture in predetermined ply sequence, and presses cloth to fit contours on mold, smooth surface, and remove air pockets and excess resin using squeegee, scraper, or spatula.
Encasing molded laminate in bagging material and bleeder cloth, attaches vacuum bagging apparatus.
Dispensing, handling, and applying composite resins and adhesives.
Trimming, drilling, grinding, sanding, and finishing cured parts to specifications, using templates, fixtures, tools, and power tools.
Pre-fitting and assembling cured parts into assemblies or subassemblies, using jigs, fixtures, power tools, and fasteners, such as rivets and bolts.
Following all safety practices and procedures.
Safely performing tasks such as applying bondo and paint, operating palm sander and other basic hand tools, handling chemicals (resin, paste, acetone), laying fiberglass and balsa core, operating cranes, etc.

INSPECTOR
* Carefully looks at raw materials, processed, and frozen precooked pasta at various processing steps to ensure it meets our standards of quality. Verify our pasta product is not; under cooked / overcooked / miss shaped / thawed.
PROCESSOR
* Shapes, stacks, and rolls cheese filled lasagna rolls or sandwiches as they're conveyed to freezer.
* Mix and blend powder and granular ingredients for dry mixes.
* Mix batches of dough for processing lines.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PACKER
* Packers are to ensure the right product is in the right bag and final shipping container.
* Sorts, stacks, orientates product to properly fit in finished case.
* Fills and weighs frozen pasta pieces to appropriate case or tote weight in accordance with customer requirements.
* Ensure all packages are properly coded before packing.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PALLETIZER
* Check pallets to ensure they are in good condition for loading product on.
* Verify all codes on boxes as complete, accurate, and legible with the line, shift, lot code and product code.
* Stack boxes on pallet using correct configuration for the product running.
* Obtain powered pallet truck qualification.
FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies the food safety and quality principles as described in the Marzetti Corporate Food Safety and Quality Manual and internal Marzetti Frozen Pasta policies, training and procedures in all applicable aspects of departmental and job functions.

A Vehicle Dismantler is responsible for efficiently dismantling cars, including extracting gasoline and all other fluids, removing batteries, mercury switches, non-conformities, catalytic converters, and other items. Mechanical Assembler I is an entry level position. The purpose for an operator at this level is to gain a basic understanding of deburring and air grinding operations. Operators must obtain a basic level knowledge to deburr and clean parts in a manner necessary to produce precision parts with direct supervision by a more senior Mechanical Assembler with Deburring Certification (level II or above). Follows established standard work under general supervision in efforts to obtain certification. What You Will Do
* Maintain and operate deburring and air grinding tools and operate speed lathes.
* Read blueprints in order to verify work was completed properly.
* Operate and do daily/weekly checks on equipment.
* Accurately participate in the COPQ process, utilizes ACE portal for issues or process improvement.
* Accurately complete production documentation and performs necessary labor transactions.
* Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
* Works under direct supervision. Normally follows established procedures on routine work. Requires instructions on new assignments.
* Applies basic job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
* Tasks are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for some judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS
* At least 18-years of age
* High School Diploma or General Education (GED) preferred.
* Prior Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* Basic math skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
* Must be willing and able to learn skills necessary to accurately input data into computer, payroll, attendance, manufacturing, and inventory tracking systems.

INSPECTOR
* Carefully looks at raw materials, processed, and frozen precooked pasta at various processing steps to ensure it meets our standards of quality. Verify our pasta product is not; under cooked / overcooked / miss shaped / thawed.
PROCESSOR
* Shapes, stacks, and rolls cheese filled lasagna rolls or sandwiches as they're conveyed to freezer.
* Mix and blend powder and granular ingredients for dry mixes.
* Mix batches of dough for processing lines.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PACKER
* Packers are to ensure the right product is in the right bag and final shipping container.
* Sorts, stacks, orientates product to properly fit in finished case.
* Fills and weighs frozen pasta pieces to appropriate case or tote weight in accordance with customer requirements.
* Ensure all packages are properly coded before packing.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PALLETIZER
* Check pallets to ensure they are in good condition for loading product on.
* Verify all codes on boxes as complete, accurate, and legible with the line, shift, lot code and product code.
* Stack boxes on pallet using correct configuration for the product running.
* Obtain powered pallet truck qualification.
FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies the food safety and quality principles as described in the Marzetti Corporate Food Safety and Quality Manual and internal Marzetti Frozen Pasta policies, training and procedures in all applicable aspects of departmental and job functions.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:
The Production Operator is responsible for performing all tasks involved in the production of Wausau Supply Company products, while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
* Operates electronic and mechanical production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Efficiently loads components into production equipment and unloads finished product.
* Performs inventory functions utilizing computer programs.
* Monitors product quality and takes steps to correct defective material.
* Maintains production pace, while meeting daily production goals.
* Notify management of any mechanical or material issues.
* Follow all safety guidelines, including maintaining a safe and clean work area.
* Assists with training new employees as needed.
* Ability to cross train as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
