Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, the Production Worker I will fabricate, build, assemble, and install various types of metal structure, products, and equipment for manufactured boiler products and pack according to specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned. * Follows work instructions, works under supervision, trains on one machine, basic product knowledge. * Uses hand tools and measuring devices, reads tape measures, and screws metal together. * General plumbing knowledge, able to operate the hoist, plumb fittings, and operate a torch under supervision. * Drives/trained on a forklift, sands, masks, and cuts wood with supervision. * Cleans with chemicals, pressure washes, and paints under supervision. * Basic knowledge of metal thickness, grinding, shearing, hole punching, and minimal welding experience. * Knows different sizes and gauges of metal. * Operates sheet metal bending, shearing, and rolling machines to fabricate parts per drawings. * May receive training on basic Plasma machine operation. * Train on overhead crane * Maintains clean and orderly workspace. * Performs other related duties as assigned.
