GENERAL PURPOSE This position is responsible for crafting custom acrylic screens to exceed customer expectations. Ensuring highest product quality to the customer by assembling, disassembling, and packing rear projection modules per customer specifications. This position also builds custom Mylar mirrors. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILTIES Craft Plexiglas screens including cutting, sanding, and buffing parts according to customer specifications. Assemble frame screens according to customer specifications. Cut, assemble, and disassemble extrusion per drawings, customer requirements and SOP's. Closely monitor all tolerances to ensure proper fit with other components such as mirrors and screens. Record production data and properly fill out all associated paperwork per customer requirements and department SOP's. Perform quality inspection for all stages of assembly process and notify Team Lead or Plant Manager of any concerns. Follow testing procedures to validate parts. Mix chemicals, apply coatings, operate saws, build shipping crates, and support other manufacturing areas as required. Complete the clean-up responsibilities and maintain the workstation according to 7S procedures. Support Legrand core values. Job Description Skills Must have ability to read tape measure, basic mathematic skills required. Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally to frequently Basic computer literacy. Ability to stay focused and on-task at all times. TEMPERING Tempering is the second step in our production, 85% of our glass is tempered and once cut must be sent through the oven to create tempered glass. Glass will be seamed, and our SGCC Certification logo engraved on the glass before entering the oven. Once the raw glass has been tempered in the oven our operators at the outfeed will unload and label all freshly tempered glass. Then prepare it to be delivered to the next department. Production Responsibilities Attend pre-shift meetings and give feedback Stack and sort glass on racks for the next step. Complete hourly SGCC quality tests at the furnace. Inspect quality with the line scanner and other visual aids. Tracking and managing daily incompletes and understand production goals and outputs. Communicate issues with your supervisor IE (Need to walk off the line); and report any safety concerns or incidents. Learn to operate all functions of TEMPERING (Outfeed, Midfeed, Infeed) Wear safety gear on the floor at all times (kevlar pullover, helmet, glasses, pants, etc.). Wear Showa gloves when handling Soft coat glass. Operate and troubleshoot machinery in your department. Keep area clean and organized; Know where your exits and fire extinguishers are in your department. M-F 7:30am-4:00pm

What You'll Do: As a Production Support Operator, you'll be a key part of our thermal spray coating process from start to finish.
