We are looking for a Chemical Operator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement.
What you'll do:
Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc. Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.
What you'll bring:
Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
Flexibility to work different shifts.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).

ROLE SUMMARY:
Production operators are a vital piece of the Supply organization within Anheuser Busch. Production operators help pump out the volume working with high-speed, automated technology. Safety first, quality always, then volume. Production operators are a critical part of our workforce, by monitoring quality, interpreting data, and improving upon processes to ensure we're operating the best we can.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain plant safety standards- safety is our top priority

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

Your Role:

About the role
Work closely with other Packaging Operators, Shift Leader, Production Planner and Area Manager to organize and lead all production on a production line to maximize throughput and continuously improve KPI's. The Packaging Technician will be solely responsible for the line operation and daily target delivery during the shift.
Your responsibilities
* Operate relevant packaging equipment and ensure appropriate minor maintenance is carried out, when necessary, with a focus on preventative rather than reactive
* Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that are measured across multiple shifts (ex. overall equipment efficiency, waste, documentation accuracy, safety observations, near misses, etc.)
* Work with leadership to ensure changeover activities are planned and then best resourced and continuously improved
* Ensure quality with control plan adherence as a minimum
* Ensure a pro-active, preventative approach is taken on safety, health and the environment
* Assist line team in troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance activities, involving management and the maintenance team where necessary
* Ensure that shift quality and line performance data is entered in a timely and accurate manner
* Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional walking, constant standing, occasional bending and/or stooping, frequent reaching overhead
The experience we're looking for
* One year or more machine operator experience on high-speed packaging equipment in food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environment

Job Description
The Production Worker is a vital part to the overall operations to the plant. And the experience you have may make you a perfect fit to join our team at our
St. Louis
plant. You will be called upon to assist with, and may be assigned work in, any area of the plant, including coating lines, slitting, shipping, receiving, paint vault, and packaging.
Some of your Responsibilities include:
Retrieves and transports bare coils and maintains flow of metal to lines by safely operating cranes, fork lifts, and upenders without damaging material or equipment.
Trims, packages and bands finished coils according to customer specifications using proper skids, bands, pads, and wrapping materials.
Inspects coils and identifies and reports defects.
Reads and interprets production schedules.
Accurately identifies proper skid and package specified on schedules.
Reads and accurately records coil weights, order numbers, etc.
Loads or unloads received or shipped coils onto or off of trucks.
Qualifications
As the selected candidate, you will need a high school level reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, meters, gauges, documents and instructions, in addition to the following:
Ability to read and comprehend written materials such as schedules, SOPs, work rules, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate with all members of team.
Ability to safely operate small manual and electric hand tools.
Available to work up to 12 hours per day on rotating shifts, that could include weekends and holidays.

Cut and fit core materials (wood / foam) to specifications
Safely operate all tools and machinery
Maintains tools, equipment and work area
Solid experience with use of basic hand and power tools
Able to read tape measure and perform basic math and fraction conversions
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Able to pass a forklift drivers test and safely operate a forklift
