The Manufacturing Technician will sustain existing products in Manufacturing and support the transfer of new electro-mechanical product designs from R&D to Manufacturing. Key Areas of Responsibility: Support troubleshooting of Electro-Mechanical systems performs failure analysis. Requirements Packaging Technician Required Skills/Abilities: Understanding of mechanics Ability to learn onsite Multitasking Communication You'll need to pull 150-lb. pallets of cans, push the 800-lb. canning line into place (it is on wheels), stay on your feet for lengthy 8-12-hour shifts (federal/state law lunch breaks required), and perform other physical tasks as required. Flexible Schedule: Every week is different, depending on the breweries scheduled. Long hours and overnight stays are common. Hardworking: Pride in your work, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are all essential. Quick Learner: There is a lot to learn as our procedures and processes are always improving. Beer Knowledge: Home brewing or brewery experience is a big plus, as is a general appreciation for great craft beer. Essential Functions: Safe operation of warehouse equipment Safe loading and unloading of materials Ability to lift, stand and move throughout the shift Responsibilities: Assisting Machine Operators in the production of Steel-Con products Packaging material and stacking material within the yard Loading and unloading trucks General duties throughout the manufacturing plant Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
