Also responsible for keeping a clean workstation, which includes removing re-work and trash from the area. Identify and grade any rejects resulting from the Adco cartoner, including code date problems.

Job DescriptionDescription:
Innovative-IDM, one of the country's premier Industrial Automation and Motion Controls distributors and we are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in the production and assembly of our control panels, ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Panel Assembly:
Assemble control panels according to engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Install components such as PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and other electrical devices.
Ensure all components are securely mounted and properly aligned.
Wiring:
Perform wiring and interconnection of control panels as per wiring diagrams.
Strip, crimp, and terminate wires accurately.
Label and organize wiring to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct functional tests on control panels to ensure proper operation.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects in wiring or components.
Verify that all panels meet safety standards and customer requirements.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of panel assembly and wiring activities.
Update and revise wiring diagrams and schematics as needed.
Prepare documentation for final panel inspections and customer delivery.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure panels meet design specifications.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.
Provide input on design improvements and process enhancements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
1 - 3 years in a technical manufacturing position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Must be able to work on their feet for 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work consistently from 8am - 5pm with ability to come in early or stay late if needed.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of bills of materials and inventory systems.
Knowledge and experience operating a computer and software.
Knowledge and use of label and marker printing software.
Knowledge and experience of electrical wiring and crimping skills, small to large wire gauge and cable assemblies.
Knowledge and experience of electrical soldering.
Complete knowledge and experience of hand tools and operating hand tools.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, as well as wire assembly drawings.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.
Ability to complete mechanical modifications to industrial control panel enclosures.
Knowledge of manufacturing and quality process for ensuring proper assembly of products.
Knowledge of wire gauges, types of wires, and color of wires.
Analytical skills and ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties:
Food ManufacturingAssociates are responsible for providing supplies, placing of package components into specified tray compartments, finished package inspection, grading for quality defects, placing finished packages into a carton, taping the carton and palletizing the cartons. All duties performed within specific quality/GMP procedures.
Also responsible for keeping a clean workstation, which includes removing re-work and trash from the area. Responsible for inspecting packages exiting from the Mahaffey-Harder tray sealer for all packaging and observable supply defects. Identify and grade any rejects resulting from the Adco cartoner, including code date problems.
