Duties and other information for this position include:
Direct and indirect contact with inmates and visitors.
Directing inmates and maintaining security in cellblocks, housing units, cottages, work areas, dining, and recreation areas, by monitoring the movement and activities of inmates.
Observing inmates and inmate behavior by making periodic and unannounced rounds, head counts, and security checks, and reporting anything unusual to a corrections officer.

In order to qualify for this position, you must possess the ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker with no more than occasional supervision in at least two of the following trades: Carpentry (constructs, installs, repairs and replace items such as doors, shelves, etc.); Painting (preparing surfaces, determine painting materials to be used and method of application, and painting a variety of surfaces); Plumbing (replace various valves, unions, elbows, fixtures, toilets, faucets and various types of pipe and copper lines, cut and thread pipes, winterize water systems, etc.); Roofing (repairs and patching, tar and paper, metal foam roofs and asphalt shingles); Electrical (repairs including removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, and insulating defective wiring and fixtures; Cement Finishing (building and setting forms for sidewalks and steps, mixes pours, spreads, and levels cement and concrete in preparation for final finishing; Masonry (maintenance, measures, determines amount of concrete, sets forms, pours and finishes concrete to blueprint standards and project specifications); Wastewater Plant Operator (monitoring equipment and gauges, performing routine tests, recording the results in reports, collecting samples, adjusting the rate of flow and amounts of chemicals to be used; Water Plant Operator (monitoring pumping equipment, regulating water, reading meters gauges and charts, recording readings and preparing reports).

What You'll Do:
Provide one-on-one home health care to pediatric patients in their homes following an individualized home health plan of care
Work closely with families and case managers to ensure the highest level of pediatric home health care.
Deliver home health interventions that match your skill level and comfort.
Requirements:
Current credentials as either a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) with proof of 75- hour aide training program through an accredited institution. (We do not provide a CNA training program)
Valid AHA-BLS CPR course completion (Infant, Child & Adult)-ONLINE not accepted without the hands-on portion completed
FBI and Child AbuseClearances (one year shelf life) (provided bye KidzCare, if needed)
Recent Two-Step Tuberculosis test (one year shelf life), Chest X-ray (6-month shelf life) or Blood Test (Upon Hire)(provided by eKidzCare, if needed)

Performance Responsibilities:

* Provide classroom lessons based on identified needs and support the Guidance Curriculum in the following areas:

* Class scheduling options - middle / high school
* College preparation - high school
* Post secondary opportunities - high school
* Provide group and individual counseling sessions for children as part of a student (s) intervention plan.
* Assist students with social and study skills needed for success in school.
* Participate as a member of building-based intervention or problem-solving teams.
* Provide leadership on the Crisis Teams and assist with threat assessment procedures.
* Provide training opportunities for staff, students and parents in areas of social skill development, parent awareness, school transitions, and college planning as appropriate to the assigned school level.
* Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and students as needed.
* Provide for the transition of students from one building to the next, i.e. elementary to middle, middle to high school, including but not limited to:
* Parent meetings
* Move up days
* Assistance with student scheduling needs
* Assist with students moving into the district as they acclimate to a new school environment.
* Assist with the organization, collection and administration of standardized testing.
* Prepare lesson plans to be delivered to classes as scheduled.
