What You'll Do As SSTRY Clinical Therapist, you will: Provide individual, family, and group therapy aligned with A-CRA and ACC evidence-based models. Complete CRA/ACC training and maintain model fidelity. Collaborate with youth, families, and community partners to assess readiness for change, set achievable goals, and connect to services. Ability to obtain clinical licensure (LADC, LMFT, LMFTA, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCA) in the State of Connecticut Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Counseling, or related field. 1-2 years of clinical experience with youth and families, preferably in behavioral health or substance use treatment. Knowledge of adolescent substance use, behavioral health, and recovery-oriented interventions. Ability to engage clients therapeutically and design interventions to promote positive change. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to perform light to moderate lifting, standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks as needed. Aster House is a Co-Occurring Enhanced Residential Recovery Service (COE-RRS) that provides 24-hour structured treatment and support for adults experiencing both substance use and mental health disorders. Aster House promotes recovery through trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches that emphasize empowerment, dignity, and individualized care. The population served consists of adult men and women, typically ages 18 and older, who require a supportive residential setting to stabilize, build coping skills, and achieve recovery goals. Many residents present with complex behavioral health needs, co-occurring medical conditions, and psychosocial stressors such as housing insecurity, trauma histories, or disrupted social supports. Within this role, the incoming staff member will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team; including clinicians, recovery coaches, nurses, and direct care staff to provide compassionate support, promote safety, and assist residents in developing sustainable recovery and independent living skills.
