Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in State applying for.
Effective oral and written communication in English
Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.

The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. ARC adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.
Provides non-medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to adults, children, and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.
CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of CDCs, DoDEA and community schools, youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.
Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities.
Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service / family member.

Conducts in-service training sessions with both staff and students in all areas related to substance use and abuse.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Licensed Addiction Counselor is responsible for the designs, develops, and implements all programs related to substance use and abuse prevention and intervention in conjunction with the Mental Health Consultant and Health Services staff, center physician and Center Director.
The Licensed Addiction Counselor coordinates all programs designed to reduce and eliminate substance use and abuse and in compliance with the Department of Labor/Job Corps guidelines.
Conducts in-service training sessions with both staff and students in all areas related to substance use and abuse.
Submits recommendations to the Center Director for medical terminations related to substance misuse and abuse in conjunction with the Mental Health Consultant, center physician, Health and Wellness Manager (RN), etc.
Monitors behavior and progress of students involved in the Alcohol and Other Drugs of Abuse Prevention/Intervention Program.
Maintains confidential reports and records on all referrals and cases.
Qualifications:
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) required.
Prefer One year of work-related experience.
Prefer experience working with youth.
Prefer Master's degree and previous experience with disadvantaged youth, particularly in a residential setting.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Additional Requirements: Broad-based knowledge of counseling techniques. Knowledgeable in the area of alcohol and other drugs of abuse intervention programs. Ability to design, develop and implement a program related to alcohol and other drugs of abuse and interventions. Training skills in both individual and group counseling methods. Job Title: Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist (Licensed) Location: The Children's Institute, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday About our Team The Behavioral Health Outpatient team is a resource for children, adolescents, and young adults so they can get back to feeling amazing. Our therapists and Certified Nurse Practitioner work closely with each client and their family to develop skills to manage mood, thinking, and behaviors - making the move towards resiliency and healing, and becoming happier and healthier at home, school, and in the community. About the Position The Licensed Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist provides evidence-based treatment to children and their families within an outpatient behavioral health clinic, school, virtual, and/or community setting, in accordance with agency vision and mission. In this role you will participate in supervision, case consultation conferences and agency meetings. You will also serve as an ambassador for the promotion of the Children's Institute. Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling or related degree required.
Master's prepared clinician and license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT required.
Three years' experience working as a behavioral health clinician with children/families with diverse cultures, and children with disabilities (sensory, cognitive, physical) preferred.
Credentialing with managed care organizations preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:
» Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
» Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
» Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
» Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with your team to support each child's progress.
We're Looking for Someone With:
✔ A high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree in a human services area preferred).
✔ Comfort working with children.
✔ The ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
✔ Strong communication skills for interacting with clients' families.
✔ Reliable transportation.
✔ Willingness to complete company-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.
