Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Therapeutic Groups: Lead evidence-based therapeutic sessions that support clients' emotional and behavioral growth.

Promote Client Engagement: Conduct meetings that foster client participation, leadership, and self-determination.
Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in unit meetings, support educational staff, and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians.
Ensure Quality & Safety: Contribute to treatment adjustments, apply crisis intervention techniques appropriately, and maintain required certifications (TCI, CPR, First Aid).
Maintain Documentation: Complete daily progress notes, incident reports, and track client progress using point systems.
Uphold Program Standards: Follow program schedules, ensure safe and organized environments, and use resources responsibly.

Essential Functions
Coordinates, develops and delivers curriculum to meet the psychological needs of patients.
Participate within a lead role in the multidisciplinary treatment team planning process, encouraging patient and family involvement.
Perform clinical services aimed at stabilizing the psychiatric crisis and the development of healthy mental health management through a biopsychosocial model of treatment.
Responsible for coordination of discharge plan through discharge planning meetings on assigned units and follows up with patients, family, physician and hospital staff from admission through discharge. Coordinates the referral of patients and families to appropriate community, social service, home health service, extended care, and rehabilitation facilities, and organizations. Creates appropriate discharge plans and documents information in the medical record.

Responsible for the clinical management of his/her assigned clients.
Assists in identification of treatment/contract goals, completing the initial psychosocial assessment.
Responsible for maintaining contact with the assigned client's referring/outpatient therapist during the course of the client's stay and the family when/if appropriate.
