Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. Nails covers on wooden crates, binds containers with metal tape and/or plastic pallet wrap as needed. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet special shipping instructions and Sales Order notes. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
