Handles and maintains the flow of materials and products on the premises according to established guidelines. What You'll Do: Physically handles materials used to construct components and finished products to ensure movement of such items is optimized; lifts, carries, stacks items as needed. Warehouse Team Leader-BAI Blackfoot Essential Duties and Accountabilities 1. Safety: Responsible for facility safety. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: * General knowledge in forklift and material handling equipment operation. * Ability to pull and package parts to fulfill customer orders timely and accurately. * Must be able to accurately count inventory and perform basic math as part of daily tasks. * Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with others through teamwork. * Must adhere to WSECO's Customer and Employee Care Commitments. * Ability to work overtime and on call. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). * Minimum of six months' experience using inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) preferred. * Experience providing excellent customer support in a warehouse or logistics environment. * Must be able to speak, read, comprehend, and write in English. Associates in Freight/Receiving positions ensure the store is stocked and ready for business every day. They load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the store, may operate forklifts and may perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for our customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and excellent customer service skills are required. The Freight/Receiving positions may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
