What is this role?
As a Shipping Associate at Cirkul, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing our daily shipments to our Retail Partners. You will coordinate with various departments to ensure that products are dispatched efficiently and accurately, meeting customer demands and requirements.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Plan, pre-stage, and ship out Retail Orders timely, accurately, and efficiently. Generating BOLs, Packing Slips, and Shipping Labels.
Taking Ownership: Ensure that all shipments comply with company standards and regulatory requirements, as well as, all customer-specific requirements.
Making Decisions: Make quick and informed decisions to address shipping issues, such as delays, discrepancies or inventory shortages.
Cultivating Relationships: Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure alignment on shipping requirements and expectations.

Overview

Responsibilities

The Opportunity
Custom Manufacturing and Engineering, Inc. (CME) is seeking an Inventory Clerk who owns inventory accuracy across raw materials, work in process, and finished goods. This role partners closely with Shipping and Receiving and Production but is focused on maintaining inventory integrity, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring system data accurately reflects the inventory to achieve production schedules, prevent shortages, and support audit readiness.
What You Will Do
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
Perform routine cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes.
Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately and timely recorded in the ERP system.
Issue and stage materials to production per work orders and schedules.
Maintain inventory location accuracy, labeling, and organization standards.
Partner with Shipping and Receiving to verify receipts and transfers are properly reflected in inventory.
Maintain inventory records and documentation in support of compliance and audit requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to inventory control and material flow.
Scan and store incoming product compliance documents for timely access by downstream support staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting inventory control.
Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems, Deltek Costpoint preferred
Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation practices.
High attention to detail with the ability to follow discrepancies through to resolution.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively across production, operations, and shipping teams.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Minimum Requirements Needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Two or more years of experience in inventory control, materials, or a related manufacturing role preferred.
This position requires access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR and EAR. Candidates must meet "U.S. Person" requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
