Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker at the Central Kitchen is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, staging, and shipping materials and finished goods. Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Plant Shipping Supervisor, the Forklift Driver/Operators responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules
• Operates sit-down propane forklift to transport inventory and load tractor trailers for shipment
• Transports inventory in warehouse to correct locations and stages orders for shipment
• Understands daily production schedule and corresponds with management, leads, and coworkers accordingly

• Monitors schedules, equipment, or processes, and reports problems to Supervisor

The Palletizer Operator is an entry-level position will be responsible for operating automatic can palletizing equipment to pattern and/or transfer cans to and from pallets
• Minimum 18 years old
• High School diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Equivalent with 3+ years working on a sit-down forklift experience required
• Working in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred)
• Must be able to withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer and winter months
• Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
• Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer months
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and precision abilities is highly desirable
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, either nights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., or days from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends and overtime as business needs dictate

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product.
