In this role you will focus on: Responsibilities and Essential Functions: * Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the appropriate loading dock location * Use of hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to appropriate dock door * Move any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or RTV * Use of a forklift and order picker will be required * Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards * Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled and/or loaded * Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the loading dock and warehouse aisles * Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy * May be required to assist in unloading or loading trucks when necessary Full-Time and Part Time positions available! About This Role We are seeking a versatile Mechanical Assembler with additional responsibilities in shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and warehouse management and be able to train other employees, as directed. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Assembly Assemble mechanical components and products according to detailed instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings. Communicate any issues with received goods to buyer/planner management. Assist with the documentations and processing of returns or exchanges. Warehouse Operations Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and updating records. Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of products. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery. Operate forklifts, PIV's, or other warehouse equipment as needed. Ensure warehouse safety protocols are followed and maintained. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Proven experience in mechanical assembly and/or warehouse operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in forklift, PIV, and hoist operation, but will provide training. Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
