The Professional Tutor will provide student academic support as part of the Learning Center at A&M-Central Texas. This role involves one-on-one and group consultations with students, including assistance with understanding academic concepts, writing within and across disciplines, implementing study strategies, and utilizing a range of applications. Professional tutors assist with and conduct workshops related to their areas of expertise.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer. The department is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students and visitors.
Assist with general office duties, including generating reports and answering phones.
Support faculty and staff with special projects and events.
Manage multiple modes of communication with students, staff, and faculty.

Qualifications:
