The Role:

The Expertise You Have:

Comprehensive knowledge of information retrieval principles, including both classic approaches (such as TF-IDF, BM25) and advanced neural search techniques (like vector embeddings and transformer-based models).
Proficiency in container technologies, especially Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred) and Docker.
Solid understanding of the software development and delivery lifecycle for large-scale systems.
Ability to design and implement automation and infrastructure solutions using languages such as Python, Groovy, Shell, and NodeJS.
Experience with build tools and package managers (helm, maven, npm, pip, etc.).
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or other OpenTelemetry/APM tools.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex CI/CD pipelines, release issues, and multi-component system environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
ADI's Aerospace and Defense Module Product Line has an open position for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Working on new technology development, you will design cutting-edge integrated modules and subsystems for phased array radar systems.
In this position, you will work in a collaborative team environment and interface with electrical designers, process engineers, program managers, and production assembly through all program phases from research through design and production.
Job responsibilities include:
Lead mechanical design of electronic hardware which incorporates RF modules, control electronics, power systems, cabling, and cooling. Hands-on use of 3D CAD system for rapid development.
Apply Systems Engineering principles, performing requirements analysis and trade-study on ADI platform designs for industrial markets.

Proposal research and preparation including cost and schedule estimates.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Work with engineers across the business to propose, design, develop, integrate, and document complex detailed designs and large assemblies within the mechanical design department using CREO.
+ Communicate with engineering team members and suppliers to design, model, and document the design technical data package (TDP) and its capabilities and compliance to configuration and drafting requirements.
+ Manage large assemblies in CREO and optimize drafting and model methodologies
+ Ensuring correct update and distribution of engineering documentation following engineering change notices
+ Being up to date on documentation types per ASME Y14.24 in order to resolve and mediate conflicts per program documentation standards (PDS) for the department and key programs
