All science and mathematics courses must have been acceptable for credit toward meeting the requirements for a science major at an accredited college or university. The Staff Pad is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician in Helena, Montana. Join an organization that values people first. JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups served by SPH. The position routinely performs waived, moderate and high complexity testing (with an Associates degree). KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One -year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory technician in a hospital setting preferred. EDUCATION: Associate degree in Medical Technology or equivalent preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Certification by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required.
