We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to operate production equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, Manufacturing Documentation (MD), and Operational Procedures Manual (OPM). The role involves executing procedures for the production of cross-linked hyaluronic acid products, reviewing manufacturing documentation for compliance, coordinating sample preparation and testing, and accurately recording data into Batch Records, log books, and OPMs. The ideal candidate will document all work activities following Good Documentation Practices, recommend document revisions, and report procedural deviations and non-conformance to management.
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment as per SOPs, Batch Records, MD, and OPM.
Execute procedures for cross-linked hyaluronic acid product production.
Review manufacturing documentation for compliance.
Coordinate sample preparation and testing.
Record data into Batch Records, log books, and OPMs.
Document work activities following Good Documentation Practices.
Recommend document revisions.
Report procedural deviations and non-conformance to management.

Essential Skills
Proficiency in SOP and GMP.

Job Summary
Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician in their role as testing personnel are responsible for specimen processing, test performance and for reporting test results. Each individual performs only those tests that are authorized by the laboratory director and require a degree of skill commensurate with the individual's education, training or experience, and technical abilities. Under general supervision, the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT II), in their role as Testing Personnel as defined by CLIA, carries out all policies and performs all tests in accordance with the department's standard operating procedures. Works independently in an efficient and organized manner to assure accurate results and records. The work requires a professional level of knowledge to read and interpret accurately test results used by providers in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

-As outlined by CLIA, after successful completion of orientation, training and competency assessment on all instruments/methods applicable to their role:
-Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results;
-Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples;
-Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed;
-Follow the laboratory's established corrective action policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance;
-Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the general supervisor, technical consultant, technical supervisor, clinical consultant or director; and
-Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications. 42 CFR 493.**************.

Job Summary
The Opportunity The Medical Technologist (MT), in the role as Testing Personnel as defined by CLIA, may be delegated the responsibility of the technical oversight of the laboratory including the day-to-day oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting results. Under general supervision, the MT carries out all policies and performs all tests in accordance with the department's standard operating procedures. Works independently in an efficient and organized manner to assure accurate results and records. Assists with training of staff. The work requires a professional level of knowledge to read and interpret accurately test results used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Chemical, Physical, or biological science from an accredited college or university, OR
2. Meets other qualifications as described in the Federal Register, 42 CFR, Subpart M 493.1403 - 1495.
3. ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
4. Clinical chemistry or Hematology experience required.

Ideally, you will have experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment (microscopes, pipetting and / or clinical diagnostic analyzers).
