The Social Worker is responsible for ensuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Field Support personnel are critical members of the Social Work Field Team which facilitate and administer the field education (internship) enrollment experience for Social Work students and contribute to the success of the department in equipping students for the profession.
