Job Objective The Custody and Resource Coordinator (CRC) assists ERO Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment. The CRC also provides services and support to individuals on issues that commonly affect the ICE detained population and ICE mission such as responsive support to victims, trauma, sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and medical and mental health care. The duty location of each CRC will be at a designated ICE detention facility or ICE office. At each duty location, the CRC will be responsible for supporting ERO Field office and facility staff in their daily duties. Responsibilities
Assist with needs, requests (on ICE Detainee Request Form or otherwise), and complaints from the detained noncitizen population regarding non-officer or immigration case related issues.
Assist ERO officers with addressing noncitizen requests related to parent/child communication and/or child welfare involvement.
Facilitate on-site support of disability accommodations, including coordinating follow-up, as requested by ERO, with detention facilities upon submission of a Disability Accommodation Notification to ERO Headquarters (HQ).
Assist ERO and detention facility staff as a resource to facilitate the compliance of applicable agency policies and detention standards. Facilitate discussions and communicate directly with detained noncitizens. Areas of facilitation include but are not limited to the following topic areas: allegations of sexual abuse and assault, identification and monitoring of pregnant noncitizens, resources for noncitizens in segregated housing or special management units, and admission and release.
Address ERO and detention facility staff questions or concerns about specific noncitizens, including available services.
Provide noncitizen referrals to appropriate ERO and detention facility staff for care and follow-up to prevent critical incidents and issues (e.g., medical, mental health, chaplain, etc.).
Support noncitizens with specialized needs or requiring heightened attention and conduct noncitizen wellness checks and follow-ups upon request by ERO Field Office and/or ERO HQ.
Meet with newly detained noncitizens during or after intake to answer questions, address concerns, provide brief orientation to the detention facility and CRC services.
Assist ERO Field Offices who run specialized housing units and programs or services that are designed to provide appropriate care to vulnerable populations, such as: a. Dedicate Housing for Transgender Noncitizens b. Behavioral/Mental Health Unit(s) c. Family Residential Centers d. Reunification of relatives and children in federal custody e. Young adult case management services
Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff communicating with the detained noncitizen population.
Provide general support, as needed, to help maintain safety and security of the detention facility.
Assist ERO Field Office in removal planning for noncitizens with vulnerabilities and in general population by - researching referrals and identifying to resources in the noncitizen's home country and developing individualized Departure Plans.
Assist ERO Field Office in release planning for noncitizens with vulnerabilities and in general population by researching referrals and identifying needed resources in the U.S. Planning activities may include communicating with family members, securing resources such as medical/mental healthcare, and identifying housing options or placement in a shelter or hospital/institution.
Develop and maintain a national resource database of resources (in and outside of the United States) for CRC and ERO Officer use to facilitate the release and removal of noncitizens booked out of ICE custody.
Minimum Job Requirements/Technical Requirements
Knowledge of the case management process commensurate with training and education at a minimum at the bachelor's level.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
Ability to utilize telephonic interpreter/translation services to complete assigned duties if not fluent in a language the noncitizen understands.

**Responsibilities:**
GENERAL PURPOSE
The UCC associate director for clinical services oversees the development and provision of clinical services within UCC, provides clinical care to students, provides supervision and training to UCC professionals in training, and provides outreach and consultation to the university community.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Provides direct individual, couples and group mental health care services to UR students using various short term psychotherapy treatment approaches. Creates treatment plans based on assessment data and clinical interview. Routinely revises treatment plans based on client's progress toward treatment goals and life situation needs. Summarizes progress and recommends alternatives to students at the completion of the course of care.
+ Provides intake assessments, clinical triage, and mental health crisis management services for students. Provides careful diagnosis, assessment, and evaluation using standard UCC psychometric instruments and clinical assessment interviews.
+ Provides clinical supervision of professionals in training from psychology, social work and counseling backgrounds. Teaches seminars and workshops as assigned.
+ Oversees quality improvement and quality assurance activities including peer review and client satisfaction reports. Attends and presents at quarterly UHS QI meetings. Leads the creationg and review of UHS and UCC policies and procedures related to behavioral health care for compliance with AAAHC accreditation. Attends the twice monthly UHS leadership team meeting on a rotating basis. Attends the weekly UCC exec team meeting. Helps to develop goals and objectives for UCC and UHS.
+ Provides leadership for the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures for clinical service delivery, including type and scope of service provision, tracking of utilization of services, and research on outcome of services. Chairs Clinical Services Committee in review of clinical services and special projects as needed, including the development and assessment of clinical services. Leads the all staff weekly clinical meeting to update staff on current utilization and any changes. Monitors the need for end of semester plans, waitlist management when necessary and overseeing requests for extended therapy sessions. Provides consultation for support/administrative staff on difficult and unusual clinical or case management situations, coordinates agency responses to cases involving special needs and risks, unusual circumstances, and emergency needs.
